SQL Developer / Data Engineer

We are seeking a skilled SQL Developer / Data Engineer to join our Data Team at Endeavour Recruitment Solutions. The successful candidate will work closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders across the company to develop and maintain our data warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design, develop, and maintain data warehouse solutions using Azure Data Factory and SQL Server.
  2. Write efficient SQL views and stored procedures to support business intelligence and data analysis.
  3. Collaborate with the Power BI team to develop and maintain data visualizations and reports.
  4. Develop and optimize database models to improve data performance and scalability.
  5. Implement Azure DevOps practices to ensure efficient and reliable data delivery.
  6. Work with senior stakeholders to gather requirements and develop solutions to meet business needs.
Requirements:
  1. Strong command of SQL and experience with database development.
  2. Proficiency in Power BI and data visualization.
  3. Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  4. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to suggest solutions.
  5. Experience with Azure, especially Azure Data Factory and Azure DevOps.
  6. Advanced Excel skills and ability to distill complex problems into workable solutions.
Bonus Points:
  1. Experience working in the financial industry.
  2. Previous coding experience and API knowledge.
