Job Title: Part Time Psychologist

Shire Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Part Time Psychologist to join our team in North Hampshire. As a HCPC registered Psychologist, you will be working within a specialist secure service, providing psychological therapies to individuals with intellectual disability and autism who also present with sex offending behavior.

About the Role:

  • Work as part of a multidisciplinary team (MDT) to deliver psychological therapies to individuals with complex needs.
  • Conduct assessments, formulate treatment plans, and provide individual and group therapy sessions.
  • Collaborate with other professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support for service users.
  • Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to the development of service policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • HCPC registration as a Clinical, Counselling, or Forensic Psychologist.
  • Experience working with individuals with intellectual disability and autism, particularly those with sex offending behavior.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to work.
