About the Role

Bright Sparks Science is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Science Instructor to join our team. As a Science Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and interactive science sessions to primary school children in a fun and safe environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality science tuition and activities to children aged 5-11 years
  • Plan and prepare engaging science sessions that cater to different age groups and abilities
  • Ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all children
  • Communicate effectively with children, parents, and school staff
  • Collaborate with other team members to develop and implement science programs
  • Contribute to the development of science resources and materials
Requirements
  • Relevant experience working with children aged 5-11 years
  • Strong knowledge of science concepts and principles
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including after-school sessions
  • Valid driving license and use of own vehicle (for mileage allowance purposes)
