We are seeking a proficient and dependable Plumbing Technician to become part of our workforce during the seasonal project phase.This temporary position offers a competitive hourly wage of £15, with a standard workweek of 37.5 hours, and the possibility of additional hours during busy periods.
Responsibilities include performing regular maintenance and repairs on plumbing systems within student housing facilities. Duties also encompass the installation, repair, and upkeep of water supply systems, heating apparatus, and drainage networks. Responding swiftly to urgent plumbing requests and effectively diagnosing issues is essential. Delivering exceptional service to residents and staff, while addressing plumbing inquiries in a professional manner, is a key aspect of this role.Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience as a Plumbing Technician, ideally within a residential or student housing context.
- Relevant plumbing certifications (e.g., NVQ Level 2 or higher in Plumbing and Heating).
- Comprehensive understanding of plumbing systems and methodologies.
- Willingness to adapt to varying work hours, with the possibility of overtime during peak times.
