Production Planning Supervisor

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Production Planning Supervisor to join our team at KHR Recruitment Specialists. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining the Master Production Schedule in SAP, coordinating meetings with relevant parties, and ensuring accurate short-term and long-term plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and maintain the Master Production Schedule in SAP, communicating requirements via the Production Planning Tracker.
  2. Coordinate meetings with production teams to ensure the Master Production Schedule is up-to-date.
  3. Ensure accurate short-term and long-term plans, reflecting current production status and deadlines.
  4. Load forecast in SAP in line with S&OP meetings.
  5. Upload production documentation to the shop floor in a timely manner using SAP.
  6. Support manufacturing departments with capacity planning data for effective overtime and subcontract decisions.
  7. Create and maintain production routings and parts allocation.
  8. Manage ECN process updates and implementations.
  9. Report to the Supply Chain Manager on defined KPIs.
  10. Use SAP to book in parts.
  11. Lead the Production Planning team, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.
  12. Develop and maintain lean systems, implementing practices aligned with efficiency objectives.
  13. Coordinate and plan annual inventory counts.

Candidate Profile:

We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in production scheduling, planning, warehouse management, and logistics. Experience with SAP (MM & PP) is essential, as is a sound understanding of KPIs and data analysis tools. Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office, are required, along with proven people management experience. The ideal candidate will be able to lead a team positively through change processes and identify training and development requirements.
