About the Role

MCS Group is excited to be partnering with a pioneering FDI launching a new office in Belfast City Centre. The Opportunity

We are seeking a talented Software Engineer to join our team and work on the rebuild of a market-disrupting microservices-based platform using Scala and AWS. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience with Scala and a keen interest in learning new technologies, including Rust and Go. Previous experience with cloud platforms and databases is a plus.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work on the rebuild of a market-disrupting microservices-based platform using Scala and AWS
  • Contribute to the development of AI and Machine Learning capabilities
  • Collaborate with the team to improve efficiency and processes
  • Participate in Agile development methodologies

Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience with Scala
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
