Job Title: Electrical Design Engineer

Rocoil Limited is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing electronic components and products to meet our customers' specifications and requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop electronic components and products to meet customer specifications and requirements
  • Develop and implement design solutions for customer applications
  • Test and validate electronic components and products to ensure they meet safety standards and applicable regulations
  • Inspect electronic equipment, instruments, and systems to ensure they meet safety standards and applicable regulations
  • Develop and maintain maintenance and testing procedures for electronic components and equipment
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience working with electronics engineering
  • Experience working in the electronics engineering industry
  • Undergraduate degree (or equivalent) in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or Physics
  • Postgraduate qualification in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or Physics (desirable)
  • Familiarity with design software (e.g. AutoCAD, Corel Draw)
  • Knowledge/experience of analogue electronics
  • Good soldering skills (to IPC standards)
  • Understanding of magnetic fields and magnetic induction
