Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Support Assistant to join our team at Winner Recruitment. This role involves working closely with a leading educational institution that specializes in providing tailored support for students with special educational needs.

Role Type:
This is a full-time, permanent position.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Hub Manager and Lead Educators in the planning, preparation, and evaluation of a dynamic and adaptable curriculum.
- Conduct individual and small group teaching sessions as necessary.
- Provide daily transportation for students, necessitating a valid driving license.
- Actively contribute to the school's development by supporting various curriculum initiatives and improvement strategies.
- Uphold the organization's policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with Equal Opportunities and Diversity standards.
- Advocate for the young individuals and families under your care.
- Foster student engagement by involving them in decision-making processes regarding their educational programs.
- Assist Senior Leadership in maintaining high-quality, safe learning environments.
- Serve as a role model for fellow support staff, embodying the organization's values and professional standards.
- Mentor and oversee a designated group of support staff, offering guidance, supervision, and feedback on their performance.
- Refer staff to the Improvement Team as needed, following established quality assurance protocols.
- Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by the Hub Manager and commit to ongoing professional development.

Candidate Requirements:
- Flexibility and creativity in approach.
- A minimum of two years' experience working with children, young people, or vulnerable adults in an educational context.
- Proven ability to create and implement effective resources for students with additional needs.
- Possession of a relevant qualification at Level 2 or equivalent experience as an unqualified support assistant.
- A strong commitment to fostering a positive impact on each student's educational journey.
