About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated neonatal nurse to join our team as a Trainee Advanced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your clinical skills and knowledge in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate individual treatment interventions for patients using expert clinical judgment and close liaison with the multidisciplinary team.
  • Use expertise and decision-making skills to inform clinical reasoning approaches when dealing with differentiated and undifferentiated individual presentations and complex situations.
  • Initiate, evaluate, and modify a range of interventions, including prescribing medicines, therapies, lifestyle advice, and care.
  • Exercise professional judgment to manage risk appropriately, especially in complex and unpredictable events.
  • Utilize complex decision-making skills to promote high-quality care in unpredictable and challenging circumstances.
  • Ensure compliance with the respective code of professional conduct and work within the scope of practice.
  • Work in partnership with individuals, families, and carers, using a range of assessment methods as appropriate.
  • Be responsible and accountable for decisions, actions, and omissions at this level of practice.
Requirements
  • Demonstrable experience within a similar setting, including evidence of management responsibilities.
  • Excellent clinical and practical skills.
  • NMC Registered.
  • First Level Qualification - RGN, RSCN, RN Child Branch, RM.
