Financial Accountant

Agility Resourcing is seeking a skilled Financial Accountant to join their successful team.
You will assist the Finance Manager in providing professional financial accounting services to the group and its subsidiaries, including financial due diligence, statutory reporting, tax compliance, and cash flow forecasting.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the planning and delivery of group and subsidiary audits.
- Produce year-end statutory accounts and a consolidated balance sheet for management purposes.
- Prepare external financial and statutory returns for the group and its subsidiaries.
- Maintain and develop strong control processes to ensure data quality and accuracy of accounting ledgers.
- Provide financial due diligence services to the group and subsidiary companies.
- Stay up-to-date with statutory financial reporting requirements.
- Monitor balance sheets to ensure control account reconciliations are complete and accurate.
- Provide training to finance and non-finance staff as needed.
Requirements
- Excellent technical accounting skills.
- Ability to understand and interpret financial and non-financial information.
- Strong knowledge of MS applications, including Excel and Teams.
- Experience in External Audit.
- Extensive knowledge of statutory financial reporting requirements.
- Experience in statutory accounts preparation and review.
- Demonstrable experience in a complex financial environment.
