Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Tax Manager to join our team in Newton Abbot. As a key member of our tax team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality tax advice to our clients, with a focus on corporate tax planning and advisory work. You will work closely with our clients to understand their tax needs and provide tailored solutions to help them achieve their business goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the tax team and delivery of a quality compliance service across corporate and personal tax
  • Deliver wide-ranging tax advice to clients, with a focus on corporate tax planning and advisory work
  • Work on tax planning and advisory projects, including capital tax planning, IHT, trusts, wills, and property-related tax advice
  • Develop and grow the firm's tax department, managing and mentoring a team of tax professionals

Requirements

  • ACA/ACCA/ATT/CTA qualified with a career background in tax compliance and advisory/planning tax
  • Strong technical skills in both personal and corporate tax advice
  • Experience in managing and developing a tax team
  • Ability to work on complex tax projects and provide tailored solutions to clients
