Exciting Opportunity for a Salesforce Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Architect to join our Enterprise applications and development team at PPL PRS. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing scalable solutions across our Salesforce implementation, collaborating with colleagues to create prototypes and proofs of concept, and providing guidance and oversight to our Admins, Developers, and QAs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain high- and low-level design documents to ensure scalability and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create prototypes and proofs of concept to define or refine requirements.
  • Provide technical guidance and oversight to our Admins, Developers, and QAs to ensure best practices and exceptional user experience.
  • Identify and gather requirements to translate into scalable solutions with a focus on user experience.
  • Explore and utilize unused or underutilized platform features to enhance our Salesforce implementation.
  • Own the design process, from discovery to build, to ensure seamless integration and technical excellence.
  • Support the management of integrated applications and third-party suppliers, including Financial Force, Salesforce CPQ, Vonage telephony, Jitterbit, Pardot, Conga, Gearset, and Ownbackup.
  • Ensure effective change control and best practices for system maintenance, configuration, development, testing, and data integrity.
  • Take on a technical lead role in transformation projects, designing and delivering solutions as required by the project and set out by the project manager.
  • Champion and support the adoption and usage of relevant technologies and tools by the business.
  • Contribute to and support our devops solution, identifying issues and improvements.
  • Actively seek to improve and invest in personal development to stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
Experience and Qualifications

Essential

  • Strong Salesforce product knowledge with at least 2 years of experience as a Salesforce Architect.
  • Salesforce Certified Application Architect and/or Salesforce Certified System Architect.
  • Experience designing solutions for complex business processes.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and relationship building skills.
  • Resilient, self-confident, influential, and assertive.
  • Customer-focused and fully engaged with business teams.
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving.
  • Decision-making and judgement.
  • Solid presentation and facilitation skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.

Desirable

  • Experience with Certinia, Salesforce CPQ, Pardot, Experience Cloud, OmniStudio, and Ownbackup.
  • Experience with JIRA, Confluence for Agile Delivery.
  • Experience of coaching others on system understanding and best practices.
  • Additional Salesforce Certifications would be advantageous.
