Senior Biomedical Scientist-Virology

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Biomedical Scientist to join our Pathology team at The London Clinic. This role is based in our state-of-the-art facilities in Central London, where you will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of professionals in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise technical and scientific work in the laboratory under the direction of the Chief/Senior Biomedical Scientist or Consultant.
- Undertake routine and specialist laboratory techniques in line with department standard operating procedures.
- Record information on the Pathology laboratory information system and ensure it complies with governance requirements at all times.
- Liaise with all grades of biomedical scientists, TLC staff and other users to ensure optimal service delivery.
Requirements:
- Current state registration as a Biomedical Scientist in the UK (HCPC).
- BSc Biomedical Science or equivalent.
- Completion of specialist training or equivalent experience (more than 2 years) in the UK.
- Understands quality assurance procedures in accordance with UKAS standards.
