We are seeking a skilled Architectural Assistant at the Part II level to become a part of a reputable Architectural Firm.

The selected individual will engage in residential projects that range from medium to large scale, including high-rise residential buildings, housing developments, and mixed-use projects.

The ideal candidate for the Part II Architectural Assistant role should possess a solid background in residential architecture and demonstrate proficiency in Autodesk Revit.

This position provides the chance to work independently, exhibit self-motivation, and communicate effectively within a collaborative team setting.

Key Responsibilities of the Part II Architectural Assistant:

  • Analyze project briefs, materials, and construction systems
  • Enhance concept and detailed designs utilizing Revit/CAD and manual methods under the supervision of the project leader
  • Produce technical designs and documentation with support from the project leader
  • Integrate technical data and regulatory standards into design and production drawings
  • Collaborate with external design team members and stakeholders as required
  • Engage in in-house and external continuing professional development (CPD) activities
  • Observe and learn from various activities within the practice to expand professional experience and fulfill examination requirements
  • Contribute to studio enhancement initiatives or provide assistance as necessary

Requirements for the Part II Architectural Assistant Position:

  • Proficient in Autodesk Revit
  • Ability to produce well-developed architectural designs
  • Detail-oriented and diligent work ethic
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Good organizational abilities
  • Understanding of professional duty of care in client-architect relationships and employer-employee dynamics
  • Familiarity with relevant Revit/CAD systems, 3D modeling, and visualization software
