Platform Engineering Manager

Location: London, UK (Hybrid)

About the Role:
As a Platform Engineering Manager at Harrington Starr, you will lead our talented team of 13 engineers in creating a cutting-edge platform for rapid, reliable software development and deployment. Your strategic guidance will ensure projects are delivered on time and meet high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic direction for platform development, ensuring seamless integration with development tools and processes.
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of platform projects, ensuring they meet business objectives.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and support the professional development of team members.
  • Collaborate with various teams to drive platform success.
  • Engage in complex, challenging projects that drive innovation.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a leadership role within platform engineering or a related field.
  • Solid understanding of platform engineering principles and practices, including AWS, Python, Terraform, Docker, and CI/CD processes.
  • Experience managing and delivering complex technical projects.
  • Ability to think strategically and align engineering efforts with business objectives.
