Aon is seeking highly motivated and numerate individuals to join our Actuarial Consulting & Reinsurance Analytics team as Summer Interns. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to work on real-world projects, develop your skills, and gain valuable experience in the field of actuarial consulting and reinsurance analytics.

About the Role

As an Actuarial Consulting & Reinsurance Analytics Intern, you will be part of a dynamic team that provides innovative and data-driven solutions to clients across the non-life insurance value chain. You will work closely with experienced professionals to develop and implement actuarial models, analyze data, and provide insights to clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement actuarial models to analyze data and provide insights to clients
  • Work closely with experienced professionals to develop and implement data-driven solutions
  • Contribute to the development of innovative and data-driven solutions to clients
  • Collaborate with the team to identify and prioritize projects
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders

Requirements
  • 2:1 degree (or equivalent) in a maths, actuarial science, or other highly numerate degree
  • A-grade or above in Maths A-level, A-grade in Maths Scottish higher or international equivalent of this
  • Excellent numerical ability and strong communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Proactive approach to seeking out learning opportunities
