Exciting Opportunity for a Senior Architectural Technician

Overview

Join a prominent multi-disciplinary practice as a Senior Architectural Technician, focusing on innovative and highly regulated projects across various sectors such as Defence, Custodial, and Life Science.


Role Responsibilities

As a Senior Architectural Technician, you will:

  • Utilize your expertise in RIBA stage 4 (Detailed Design) while possessing a comprehensive understanding of stages 0-7 drawing production.
  • Deliver coordinated construction drawing packages using advanced design software.
  • Collaborate within a multi-disciplinary team to produce high-quality, precise, and detailed design packages.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry-standard software and information management techniques to ensure superior project outputs.

Key Deliverables

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Producing fully coordinated discipline-specific 3D models, schematics, general arrangements, and detailed drawings in accordance with relevant standards and procedures.
  • Delivering discrete packages of work under the guidance of a Senior Architect.
  • Occasionally managing Architectural CAD contributions in small to medium-sized projects, overseeing time, cost, quality, and delivery.
  • Providing essential Architectural design support across a variety of projects.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Strong experience with Revit.
  • An understanding of Technical Specifications, with the ability to produce these being a bonus.
  • The capability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Applicants must be willing and able to obtain SC clearance for the sectors associated with these projects. The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary in the range of £35,000-£45,000, along with a car/car allowance and various benefits, including private medical insurance, pension contributions, and flexible/hybrid working arrangements.
