We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at Academics. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in primary schools across Macclesfield.

About the Role

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and other support staff to provide individualized support to children with SEN. Your primary responsibility will be to create a safe and inclusive learning environment that fosters academic growth and social development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide one-to-one support to children with SEN, adapting your approach to meet their unique needs
  • Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement personalized learning plans
  • Assist with lesson planning and preparation, ensuring that all materials are accessible and engaging
  • Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure seamless support
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive school culture, promoting social skills and emotional well-being
