Occupational Therapist Senior

This is a 12-month secondment opportunity for an Occupational Therapist to work at a senior level in community adult mental health services, Tower Hamlets. The successful candidate will join the established and experienced Bow and Poplar Neighborhood Mental Health Team (NMHT), a vibrant team offering integrated mental health and social care to people of Bow and Poplar.
Main Responsibilities- Conduct occupational therapy assessments and interventions to support individuals with mental health difficulties.
- Act as the named Health Care Professional for individuals where occupational function is the main area of difficulty.
- Lead Brief Treatment and Assessment (ABT) including adult assessments and safeguarding enquiries.
- Supervise OT Technicians, employment specialists, and community connectors within the NMHT.
