Job Summary

We're seeking a skilled Coffee Field Service Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our service team, you'll be responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair, and exchange of coffee equipment at customer sites.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Installation and Equipment Servicing: Ensure the proper installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbed and free-standing equipment at customer sites across the designated field area.
  2. Repairing Faults: Troubleshoot and repair equipment faults in a timely and efficient manner.
  3. Vehicle Maintenance: Maintain the company vehicle to ensure it's in good working condition.
  4. Parts Management and Administration: Manage parts inventory and administer service requests.
  5. Customer Machine Management: Provide excellent customer service, maintain customer retention, and manage customer machines.
  6. Selling Service and Ancillary Items: Sell service and ancillary items to customers.
  7. Preparing Daily Jobs: Prepare daily jobs, ensuring the correct parts are in stock for installation and repair.
  8. Daily Liaison with Engineer Resource Scheduler: Liaise with the Engineer Resource Scheduler to determine service priorities and scheduling of calls.
  9. Providing Customer Advice and Machine Training: Provide customer advice, machine training, and a high standard of machine repair to all customers within the region.
  10. Liaising with Regional Service Manager: Liaise with the Regional Service Manager to resolve customer issues and ensure customer needs are met.
  11. Liaising with Salesperson: Liaise with the salesperson to ensure they're aware of customer issues or concerns.

Requirements

We're looking for someone with a thorough working knowledge of electrical and mechanical maintenance, with a proven track record in a customer-facing service environment. Field service experience is preferred but not essential.
