Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic leadership and support to the Headteacher and leadership team in the development and implementation of educational policies and procedures.
  • Oversee the management of staff, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with parents, carers, and external stakeholders to ensure the best possible outcomes for our students.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of curriculum plans and assessments to ensure high-quality education for our students.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of educational programs and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and implement strategies to improve student behavior and well-being.
Requirements
  • Relevant experience of teaching pupils and young people with Autistic spectrum condition and/or challenging behaviors.
  • Relevant experience of teaching pupils and young people with complex needs.
  • Experience of managing staff and budgets.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with staff, students, and external stakeholders.
