We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Credit Controller to join our team at Si Recruitment. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the company's financial records, ensuring accurate and timely processing of accounts payable and receivable transactions.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in credit control, with experience in processing accounts payable and receivable transactions, raising credit notes and miscellaneous invoices, and accurately processing cash, checks, charge card payments, and credit account payments in line with company cash handling procedures.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Processing and reconciling financial transactions in a timely and accurate manner
- Raising and managing credit notes and miscellaneous invoices
- Managing and maintaining aged debt records
- Assisting in reconciling financial statements
- Supporting the finance team with ad-hoc tasks as required
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Experience in a similar position, with a strong understanding of credit control procedures
- AAT L2,3,4 qualification or working towards them
- Confidently be able to navigate and use Sage packages
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with the finance team
