Job Title: Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Integral UK. As a key member of our commercial team, you will play a crucial role in delivering our projects to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the commercial team in delivering commercial duties for our projects
  • Procure and manage our supply chain to minimize costs and enhance value for money
  • Measure and record work in accordance with appropriate rules and procedures
  • Work with project managers and contractors to achieve value engineering reductions
  • Estimate costs and prepare bills of quantities and schedules of rates
  • Provide input and commercial adjudication to potential tenders
  • Plan commercial activities to meet project requirements
  • Monitor subcontract activities and respond to notices
  • Prepare cost reconciliation statements and identify savings and value engineering opportunities
Requirements:
  • BSc or MSc in Quantity Surveying (highly desirable)
  • Proven experience in the role of a Quantity Surveyor within the building/construction/building service industries (essential)
  • Experience of working in occupied buildings/campuses (essential)
  • Experience in the use of NEC3 Contracts (highly desirable)
  • Competent user of IT software packages including MS Office
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with clear and confident written and verbal communication skills
  • High level organizational ability along with time management skills in order to drive and meet deadlines
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to all tasks undertaken
