About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Technician to join our team in Lincoln, supporting our IGBT Assembly and Test department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for undertaking activities that support increased knowledge and understanding of each of the processes carried out within the department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assisting on a range of projects regarding process improvements, including cost, efficiencies, and yield.
  • Inspecting, analysing, and troubleshooting production activities related to the manufacturing process.
  • Reading equipment manuals and supporting in regular maintenance tasks and calibration of equipment.
  • Supporting in the preparation of documentation of Manufacturing Instructions and Risk assessments.
  • Test setup, running tests, and interpreting results to make effective recommendations.
  • Assisting in writing up reports regarding data trends on experimental activity and team progress.
About You

We are looking for someone who is passionate about furthering a career in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, specifically within Assembly and Test. This role would suit an individual who enjoys problem-solving and continuous improvement. You will have a dedication to quality and excellence in all aspects of your work, aiming to constantly learn and improve.

To be considered for the role, you will require:

  • 3 A-Levels Grade A-C or equivalent.
  • L3 qualification in an Electrical/Electronic Engineering discipline, would be advantageous.
  • Recent experience in a manufacturing environment would be preferred.
  • Ability to present and analyse test data.
  • Knowledge and experience of Microsoft Packages.
  • Effectively communicate with specialist and non-specialist colleagues.
