Job Description

Pertemps Telford is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Maintenance Specialist to join our team on a Fixed Term Contract basis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out electrical inspection and testing, ensuring compliance with IEE wiring regulations.
  • Perform electrical work in domestic and commercial settings, including consumer unit changes, electrical rewires, and wiring upgrades.
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of all paperwork, including job tickets and timesheets.
  • Liaise with customers to arrange appointments and discuss works.
  • Work with technical teams to ensure the timely completion of works within agreed operational targets.
  • Participate in the company's out-of-hours emergency service.
Requirements:
  • BS 7671 (Two years minimum qualified)
  • Recognised Electrical Apprenticeship (NVQ3) or JIB graded with AM2 qualification
  • City and Guilds 2391 (desirable)
  • Domestic EICR Testing and/or experience of domestic installation
  • Customer care skills and the ability to provide excellent customer service
  • Knowledge and experience of Microsoft 365 applications
  • Experience of online certification (EasyCert) or similar
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Travel distance of within 1 hour of Stafford
