Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Physiotherapist to join our team at The Runnymede Hospital, part of Circle Health Group. As a Senior Physiotherapist, you will be responsible for managing a clinical caseload, providing physiotherapy assessment and treatment to the highest standard, and ensuring excellent patient care is promoted within the hospital.

About the Role

This is a part-time role for hours a week, with a flexible shift pattern. The successful candidate will have a strong background in physiotherapy, with experience in treating orthopaedic and medical patients. You will be a Chartered Physiotherapist, registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), and have a strong understanding of CSP and HCPC Codes and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a clinical caseload, providing physiotherapy assessment and treatment to the highest standard.
  • Provide physiotherapy assessment and treatment for inpatients and outpatients.
  • Provide surgical pre-operative assessment for all patients, working closely with the multi-disciplinary team.
  • Provide clinical direction for other physiotherapy staff within the team.
  • Ensure compliance with appropriate regulatory and best practice frameworks.

Person Specification

We are looking for a Chartered Physiotherapist with vast postgraduate general physiotherapy experience and relevant experience in a more specialist area. You will be a strong communicator, an excellent judge and decision maker, and a highly effective problem solver. You will be proactive and driven to succeed, with a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
