Main Purpose of the Role:
As a Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, configuration, and delivery of projects for MoD/Government customers. Working closely with the project office and wider team, you will ensure that all technical specifications are met, from testing new equipment to delivering project systems that meet customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and configuration of MoD/Gov projects in line with specifications.
  2. Liaise with the projects office to ensure the timely delivery of assigned work.
  3. Evaluate and test new equipment to ensure compliance with project needs.
  4. Visit customer sites when necessary to support project implementation.
  5. Verify new software builds against testing criteria and efficiency standards.
  6. Provide support as part of the Duty MoD/Gov engineer rota.
  7. Offer training for new systems and support customer trials with MoD/Gov agencies.

Requirements:

  1. Minimum degree level qualification in a relevant engineering discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
  2. Cisco CCNA (or equivalent) qualification required.
  3. Flexible, proactive, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
