BIM Coordinator Job Description

We are seeking a skilled BIM Coordinator to join our team at Mattinson Partnership in London. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced BIM professional to work on prestigious projects in a dynamic and innovative environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Deliver BIM Level 2 projects and manage Clash Detection as required.
  2. Liaise with key project stakeholders to ensure compliance with project standards.
  3. Provide training to project teams on BIM processes when necessary.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
  1. Proven work experience in a UK-based firm.
  2. Mastery of Revit and ArchiCAD; knowledge of other software is advantageous.
Skills & Qualifications:
  1. Initiative and a proactive working methodology.
  2. Intermediate knowledge of Autodesk Revit or other relevant BIM authoring tools.
  3. Understanding of model federation and coordination.
  4. Familiarity with legacy CAD applications.
  5. Revit exam-based certification.
  6. Degree in Architecture, Architectural Technology, or a related field.
  7. Knowledge of Rhino, Grasshopper, and Dynamo is advantageous.
  8. Familiarity with programming (C#, VB, Python) and interoperability, especially between Revit and Rhino, is beneficial.
Experience:
  1. Minimum 2 years of practical BIM experience.
  2. Experience in delivering projects to BIM standards (ISO19650) with validation and QA processes.
  3. Experience with large-scale, complex projects and Common Data Environment (CDE) practices is a plus.
  4. Understanding of computational concepts and software is beneficial.
