Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the team's ambitious growth plans, delivering ESG assurance and advice to clients in a range of industry sectors, supporting their regulatory and commercial ESG obligations and ambitions.
  • Be the subject matter expert across the firm on changes to sustainability/ESG regulations and reporting requirements.
  • Originate and develop a pipeline of prospects, ensuring teams' practices and service offerings are compliant with assurance standards.
  • Partner with board-level executives on complex ESG issues, negotiating and influencing where required.
  • Utilize your understanding of ESG and market insights on trends and technology to identify opportunities for client coverage and growth.
  • Maintain the quality of engagements, with a focus on improvement and feedback.
  • Motivate and encourage the team, providing timely constructive feedback.
  • Lead the ESG assurance team through an exciting period of growth and expansion.

Requirements:

  • Experience leading non-audit assurance teams specializing in ESG.
  • Experience designing and implementing non-audit assurance work programs.
  • Comfortable delivering ESG advisory projects, including double materiality assessments, gap analysis, and maturity assessments.
  • High-level familiarity with ESG reporting frameworks and standards, including ISSB and CSRD.
  • Ideal qualifications include ACA.
