We are seeking an experienced Property Asset Manager to join our team at Carter Jonas. As a key member of our Property & Asset Management team, you will be responsible for managing a mixed property portfolio, including leasing and letting of property, undertaking rent reviews and lease renewals, and dealing with the acquisition and onboarding of new assets.
Main Responsibilities:- Day-to-day management of property portfolios, including leasing and letting of property, rent reviews, and lease renewals.
- Acquisition and onboarding of new assets into the portfolio, including identification of and assistance with the disposal of surplus property.
- Collection of rents and other monies due, including chasing of arrears, and liaison with the Facilities Management team to ensure compliance checks are complete.
- Managing and organizing improvement, repair, and maintenance work for residential properties, including liaison with tenants and contractors, arranging access, and checking that works are completed.
- Undertaking annual/periodic property inspections, identifying asset management opportunities, and implementing strategic development opportunities.
- Managing relations with key stakeholders, providing accurate and timely client reports, and maintaining a strong working knowledge of appropriate legislation.
- Undertaking site visits where necessary to read meters, undertake audible fire alarm tests, meet contractors, and carry out basic inspections.
We are looking for a highly organized and experienced Property Asset Manager with a strong working knowledge of compliance and CDM regulations. You will have previous experience of residential property management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will also have a good working knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook.
