About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional Electrical Engineer to lead the execution of high-voltage cable termination and testing projects for our offshore wind farm clients. As an HV Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing daily site operations, ensuring quality and safety standards are met, and providing technical support to our business development team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead projects onsite, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Assist in the preparation of project documentation and reports, providing technical expertise to project teams.
  • Assist with tender preparation, including method statements and equipment lists.
  • Oversee daily site operations, ensuring QA and HSE requirements are met.
  • Attend client visits to provide technical support to business development.
  • Oversee general daily functions performed/assigned to subordinates.
  • Provide on-the-job monitoring of tasks and activities.
  • Empower subordinates in achievement of tasks.
  • Encourage and develop team relationships.
  • Assist in the development of the business management system with respect to electrical engineering.
  • Ensure compliance with quality and HSE management systems.
  • Write reports, including inputs to project-related documentation.
Requirements
  • BTEC Diploma (Level 4), City & Guild, or HNC in Electrical Engineering.
  • Possession of/or the ability to get an RUK Wind Turbine Medical Certificate.
  • Possession of/or the ability to get GWO Certificates.
  • HV Cable Jointing.
  • HV Cable Testing.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Electrical Installation.
  • Fibre Optic Cabling & Termination.
  • HV Cable Jointing.
Experience
  • Leading onsite delivery of HV IAC and Fibre Optic T&T for the renewables industry, preferably offshore.
  • Sound technical knowledge of HV IAC and Fibre Optic T&T operations and equipment used.
