Throughout the entire delivery lifecycle, our Solution Architects maintain a practical, delivery-oriented approach across various domains and leading technologies, from optimizing digital solutions to enhance operational efficiency to crafting digital services that facilitate timely, impactful decisions.
Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Solution Architect and a technology influencer within our Digital & Data team, you will:
- Engage directly with PA and client teams to outline robust technological solutions tailored to our clients' requirements. At times, you may need to assist clients in identifying these needs as they embark on their digital transformation journey. Expect to participate in projects that create significant impact from the outset.
- Develop, oversee, and validate essential architectural artifacts, including Key Design Decisions, Technical Options Papers, High-Level Designs, Low-Level Designs, Reference Architectures, and Roadmaps. This will require you to employ a variety of consulting and stakeholder management skills to inform, engage, and influence colleagues and decision-makers across our clients' organizations.
- Assist senior leaders in shaping their case for change, typically leading cost estimation efforts and supporting the creation of detailed planning and benefits realization for the technology solutions you design.
- Collaborate closely with Engineering teams, often taking a lead Subject Matter Expert role to define the vision, establish Architectural Guardrails, Architecture Runways, and Detailed Designs, while also addressing challenges as they arise. Your background in Software Engineering will enhance your credibility as you guide engineering teams in delivering applications and services.
- Quickly grasp and effectively convey complex technical concepts to executive-level business leaders and their teams. Utilize your technical writing and presentation skills, supported by productivity tools such as PowerPoint, Word, and Visio.
- Exhibit confidence in applying your architectural expertise across a comprehensive range of domains, with specialization in at least one: Business, Data, Application, Technology, or Security.
- Demonstrate a clear understanding and practical application of architectural and delivery methodologies, including TOGAF, Zachmann, MODAF, or SAFe.
- Utilize architecture modeling tools and frameworks to communicate your ideas effectively, including UML, ArchiMate, Ardoq, and others.
- Design and implement architectural solutions within governance and target operating models, employing various methodologies such as Waterfall, SAFe, Scrum, or Kanban.
