Role Overview:
The primary responsibility of this position is to expertly repair or replace damaged vehicle body panels in accordance with provided guidelines or job specifications. This role may also involve working on the vehicle's chassis and framework.
Key Responsibilities:
- Disassemble and repair damaged vehicles by either restoring the damaged panels or replacing those that cannot be salvaged.
- Utilize all necessary tools and equipment, including jigs, fixtures, and welding apparatus, in compliance with safety standards and operational guidelines.
- Refer to manufacturer documentation and modification bulletins as necessary to ensure accurate repair and replacement of chassis and bodywork.
- Participate in relevant training sessions to remain current with industry techniques and advancements.
- Handle all vehicles with the utmost care, ensuring customer satisfaction and quality of service.
- Maintain the company’s tools and equipment in a safe, clean, and operational state.
QualificationsEssential Qualifications:
- ATA certification preferred or NVQ Level 3 qualification.
