Job Title: Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Teaching Assistant to provide one-to-one support for a child in Year 2. As their designated Teaching Assistant, you will work full-time Monday to Friday, supporting the child to remove barriers to learning and achieve their full potential.

About the Role

The school is looking for a friendly and approachable individual who can connect with the child on their level, find common interests to encourage engagement, and demonstrate strong behaviour management skills to effectively handle challenging behaviour.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide one-to-one support for a child in Year 2
  • Work closely with the SENDCo and outside agencies to enable the student to progress through the curriculum
  • Support the child to remove barriers to learning and achieve their full potential
  • Demonstrate strong behaviour management skills to effectively handle challenging behaviour
