Job Title: Finance Manager

Channel 4 is seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Management Accounts Reporting & Control team, you will be responsible for leading the group periodic management accounting consolidations and business service functions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Be the specialist and dedicated lead in relation to the consolidated YTD management accounts for all of C4
  • Work closely with SFM-Group Accounting and FM – Corp & Consolidations, the Commercial Finance and FP&A teams and CFO (as required), building sound working relationships
  • Build close working relationships with the Accounting Manager- Corp & Consolidations to ensure the seamless periodic management account consolidation occurs
  • Manage the team who deliver accurate, timely and comprehensive, consolidated reporting packs to support the understanding of performance versus budget, forecast and long term plan
  • Establish and maintain good working relationships with relevant business budget holders in order to influence and inform with regards to performance and related decision making
  • Mentor the MA's and AMA's directly managed so they better understand their roles and performance
Requirements:
  • Financial qualification with 3+ years relevant, post qualified management accounting experience
  • Demonstrable experience of managing consolidated management accounts teams and processes in relatively large and/or complex organisations
  • Experience of recognised financial information system, preferably Oracle and Workday
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Advanced Excel Skills and intermediate Word / Powerpoint
  • Enthusiastic and self motivated team player
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Flexible and able to work to tight deadlines
