Join Our Team as a Software Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to join our team in the Asset & Wealth Management Division at Goldman Sachs. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying software systems that support our clients' financial goals.

About the Role

This is a full-stack Engineering role that involves working across various areas, including micro-service development in Java, interaction with MongoDB, and flexibility for UI development in Angular and React. You will be working closely with a best-in-class team of Engineers to build an exciting new platform for our PWM Alternatives business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop software systems that meet the needs of our clients
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of software systems
  • Develop and maintain high-quality software code that is scalable, reliable, and performant
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to software development lifecycle best practices
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and develop solutions that meet their needs
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Prior industry experience developing in Java, Angular/React, and Non-SQL technologies such as MongoDB
  • Experience with micro-services, Java deployments, and devOps tools such as Gitlab
  • Full understanding of software development lifecycle best practices
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
