Position Overview:

  • Job Title: Primary Teacher
  • Compensation: Minimum of £165 per day
  • Location: Various locations
  • Working Hours: Flexible, including Ad Hoc, Short Term, and Long Term assignments, Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM

Your Role as a Primary Teacher:

  • Lead and manage a classroom of learners in Key Stage 1 and/or Key Stage 2
  • Welcome students at the beginning of the school day
  • Prepare the classroom for lessons and develop lesson plans as necessary
  • Work with students in small groups or provide one-on-one support for those with additional needs
  • Deliver engaging lessons aligned with the national curriculum
  • Assist students during break times as needed
  • Encourage participation in both classroom and extracurricular activities
  • Adhere to the school's behavior management policies

Qualifications for Success:

  • A minimum of one year of teaching experience (Newly Qualified Teachers may be considered)
  • Possession of Qualified Teacher Status or an equivalent international qualification
  • Registration as a Teacher with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) - assistance available
  • References from the past two years with no gaps
  • Current Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
