The Senior Production Operator will be responsible for operating a paper manufacturing machine to ensure the production of high-quality recycled tissue. Key duties include:
- Operating the Paper Machine to a high standard of safety and good housekeeping.
- Understanding the entire papermaking process.
- Identifying faults and suggesting remedies.
- Reporting quality issues and communicating with team members.
- Providing cover for the Team Leader in their absence.
- Testing and analyzing reels manufactured off the Paper Machine.
- Starting up and shutting down the Paper Machine safely and efficiently.
- Leading and assisting with Paper Machine clothing changes.
- Conducting risk assessments and managing risks effectively.
