About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and physically fit Yard Operative to join our client's well-established team in Rotherham, South Yorkshire. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the yard, including dismantling fire extinguishers and performing heavy lifting tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work within a small, established team to maintain a fast-paced and efficient yard environment
  • Dismantle fire extinguishers and perform heavy lifting tasks as required
  • Ensure all tasks are completed to a high standard and with attention to detail
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and management to ensure seamless operations
Requirements
  • Physically fit and able to perform heavy lifting tasks
  • Punctual and reliable with a strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or general operative role is desirable
