Job Description:

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for providing expert technical support to our customers, ensuring that their domestic appliances are repaired and functioning correctly.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Complete 8 weeks' worth of training to become an expert on domestic appliances
  2. Attend 8-10 calls per day in customers' homes, fault finding and carrying out repairs on a range of domestic appliances
  3. Deliver excellent customer service, aiming for a first time fix every time
  4. Work from home with parts delivered overnight
  5. Meet sales targets and earn commission on sales

Requirements:

  1. Background in white goods repairs (e.g. washing machines, tumble dryers, dishwashers, microwaves, fridges, hobs, ovens, extractor fans etc.)
  2. Experience in another electro-mechanical field service role (e.g. coffee, vending, ticket machines, parking, vehicle maintenance etc.)
  3. Electrical qualifications (City & Guilds 224 Consumer Electrical and Electronic Servicing, City & Guilds 2365 Electrical Installation, 17th Edition etc.)
  4. A full UK Driving Licence
  5. Excellent customer service skills - able to handle a variety of customers
