Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a diverse caseload of general litigation matters, including commercial and residential property disputes, Contract, Injunctions, and enforcement cases.
  • Work closely with officers at all levels to guide our approach to legal challenges and ensure Southwark remains a leader in public service law.
  • Advocate for the council in court and adapt quickly to unfamiliar legal areas, becoming proficient with minimal supervision.
  • Contribute effectively to the council's goals, leveraging your knowledge of local government law.
