About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Analytics Engineer to join our team at Healthforce. As an Analytics Engineer, you will play a crucial role in modelling data to provide clean, accurate datasets for various stakeholders within the company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transform, test, deploy, and document data to ensure its quality and accuracy.
  • Apply software engineering best practices to analytics to produce data ready for use.
  • Collect, clean, and transform data to make it available to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain a consistent and accurate flow of data from source to target.
  • Work with different functions and capabilities to clearly define their data needs.
Requirements
  • At least 2 years of experience using programming languages like Python, Java.
  • At least 3 years of experience developing in modern analytics stacks that include ELT, cloud storage, transformation, and visualisation.
  • A thorough understanding of data warehousing principles, including OLAP, Data Marts, Star Schema, and Snowflake.
  • Deep knowledge and experience in SQL data transformations.
  • Experience in using machine-learning platforms with tools like Pytorch and TensorFlow.
  • Experience using cloud platforms like GCP, AWS, and Azure.
  • Familiarity with business intelligence tools like Metabase, PowerBI, and Tableau.
  • Understanding of agile software development methodologies.
  • Knowledge and interest in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and predictive modelling is an advantage.
  • Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field, or equivalent working experience.
