About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Fire Risk Officer to join our team at Novax Recruitment Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of fire safety and providing expert advice to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure that our clients meet the requirements of all Fire and Building Safety legislation
  • Reduce the risk of fire to all housing stock through effective management of fire risk assessments
  • Carry out inspections and oversee remedial works
  • Help to develop and implement fire safety policies and procedures
Requirements
  • Specialist knowledge of fire safety legislation and its applications to housing
  • Knowledge of the requirements for good fire safety management and maintenance operations
  • Knowledge of Fire Risk Assessment process and guidance/best practice (PAS 79)
  • Minimum 3 years' experience within the fire safety sector, property management or similar sector
  • Experience of managing or advising on fire safety in a medium to large organisation
  • Experience in researching, developing, and implementing policy and strategy to meet business requirements
  • Experience of working with others to deliver change
  • Experience of preparing and presenting reports in a range of settings
  • Experience of completing and reviewing fire risk assessments or audits for housing assets
