Transport Planning Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Transport Planner to join our team at Carrington West, a leading independent consultancy. As a Transport Planner, you will play a key role in developing and delivering transport planning projects, working closely with our clients to understand their needs and develop innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver transport planning projects, including transport assessments, transport statements, and travel plans
  • Apply design guidance, such as Manual for Streets and LTN 1/20, to ensure high-quality transport planning solutions
  • Contribute to bid and financial proposal development, showcasing your expertise and skills
  • Manage projects, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes
  • Collaborate with colleagues and clients to deliver projects that meet their needs and expectations
Requirements
  • Education to degree level or above in Transport Planning, Civil Engineering, Maths, Science, or Geography
  • Significant experience in development-led transport planning, with a strong understanding of the planning process in England
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead and manage projects
  • Strong technical background, with experience of industry-specific software, such as Junctions 9, Linsig, AutoCAD, ArcGIS, and VISSIM
