Job Title: Loader - Waste

We are seeking a reliable and physically fit Loader to join our team in the Waste Department on a temporary basis for 6 months.

About the Role:

As a Loader, you will be responsible for:

  • Loading behind refuse/recycling lorries
  • Manual lifting of bulky items
  • Delivering and uplifting recycling/refuse containers
  • Delivery of advisory leaflets
  • Clearing fly tipping
  • Uplifting dead animals/birds/mammals
  • Performing other tasks as directed by the supervisor/foreman

You will be working as part of a team and will be required to work outdoors in all weathers. You will need to provide your own safety boots, but all other necessary PPE will be provided by the client.

Requirements:

We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic and ability to work independently. Experience is desirable, but full training will be given. You will need to be physically fit and able to lift heavy objects.

Please note that this role involves heavy duty labouring and you will be required to work outdoors in all weathers.
