Deputy Head Teacher

Excelsior Multi Academy Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Head Teacher to join our team. As a key member of the senior leadership team, you will play a vital role in the day-to-day running of the school and contribute to a positive ethos for learning.

• Leadership and Management: Deputise for the Headteacher in their absence and take a major role in the day-to-day running of the school.
• Teaching and Learning: Lead Teaching and Learning across the school, ensuring an exceptional curriculum is in place, and lead English across the school.
• Attendance and Data: Lead Attendance and Data across the school, ensuring accurate records and effective strategies are in place.
• Teaching: Teach Year 6 morning sessions and develop an effective coaching approach to support staff development.
• Curriculum Development: Support and oversee the development of an inclusive, exciting, stimulating, and creative curriculum.
• Community Engagement: Promote the values and achievements of the school to the community and advise on resource needs.
• Staff Development: Assist with the appointment and induction of new staff, provide monitoring and support for NQTs and students, and support the Headteacher and Governors in annual budget planning and monitoring.
• School Development: Assist in the preparation, implementation, and monitoring of the School Development Plan.
