About Watertrain
Watertrain is renowned for providing apprenticeships and qualifications tailored to the water utility sector, making this an opportune moment to become part of our expanding organization.
Role Responsibilities:
- Design, coordinate, assess, and evaluate learning activities for participants in their work environments.
- Deliver classroom instruction to groups of up to 12 learners.
- Facilitate training and assessments covering necessary skills and competencies both on-site and off-site, tailoring solutions to meet employer requirements.
- Provide training and assessment in relevant disciplines to a diverse range of learners, including newcomers and those seeking to enhance their skills.
- Manage a caseload of learners, ensuring timely progress and completion in accordance with individual needs and established timelines.
- Collaborate with employers and learners to create Individual Learning Plans at the start of the program, establishing clear milestones and targets for ongoing monitoring and review.
- Oversee learners' progress throughout the program, ensuring regular formal reviews with both learners and employers occur at least every 12 weeks.
- Track and document vocational progress of learners, addressing any concerns as necessary.
- Engage in assessment and quality assurance processes for all training programs, adhering to prescribed standards.
- Contribute to the evaluation process to ensure continuous improvement year on year.
- Provide constructive feedback on learners' assignments, including grading and offering guidance.
- Assess and oversee learners' portfolios, ensuring completion within set deadlines.
- Complete necessary assessment documentation to meet audit standards.
- Adhere to internal and external quality assurance protocols.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge in the field and participate in required professional development activities.
- Comply with safeguarding protocols, promoting learner welfare.
- Reflect on educational research to enhance evidence-based practices.
- Uphold high ethical standards and professional integrity.
- Proficient in all aspects of water and wastewater treatment, with potential supervisory or managerial experience.
- Confident in knowledge and eager to assist others in their professional journeys.

- Willingness to travel to deliver training at client locations.
