Cobalt Recruitment is collaborating with a distinguished Client-Side Residential-Led Landlord to seek a skilled Property Surveyor who will deliver a comprehensive surveying service for a diverse portfolio of residential and commercial assets.

This permanent position offers a competitive salary of approximately £50,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications, along with an attractive holiday scheme and additional company benefits.

The successful candidate will support the Area Manager and Management Surveyors in ensuring the effective operation and upkeep of the property portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Regional Executive to develop specifications for significant repairs and refurbishments of properties.
  • Participate in site meetings with consultants and contractors to review project progress.
  • Ensure adherence to established procedures during property repair activities.
  • Supervise the performance of consultants and contractors, monitoring ongoing work.
  • Prepare schedules for minor works related to the maintenance of all properties within the designated portfolio.
  • Take appropriate actions upon receiving any Housing Act Notices from local authorities.

Qualifications:

  • Professionally qualified as a Building Surveyor, either through formal education or relevant experience.
  • Thorough understanding of the Landlord & Tenant Acts, Housing Acts, Health & Safety Regulations, and Building Regulations.
  • A proactive individual capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
