Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our team at Cubic Corporation. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for providing project control and reporting services to our project managers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Update and maintain the Invoicing / Financial Model for the Revenue Collection Contract (RCC)
  • Keep project accountants and project managers informed and advised on billings, retentions, debtors, and cash flow relating to individual projects
  • Prepare monthly project reports in accordance with the RCC timetable
  • Investigate and follow up on any variances that may arise
  • Liaise with financial accounts and commercial teams to ensure that queries are followed up
  • Meet with project managers prior to the monthly review meetings to agree project status, including contract values and estimates to completion
  • Attend monthly invoicing resolution meetings with TTL relating to the RCC Invoicing / Financial Model
  • Continually foster inter-departmental relationships to ensure positive and professional reflection of the department
  • Provide any additional duties/support as required by Senior Project Accountant / Senior Financial Analyst
Requirements
  • Degree or equivalent in an engineering or business-related discipline
  • Computer literate and advanced Excel skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to use own initiative to drive continuous improvement
  • Experience at building and maintaining strong relationships with multiple stakeholders at all levels
