Year 1 Teacher Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Year 1 Teacher to join our vibrant and fun primary school in West London. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational journey of our students.

About the Role

As a Year 1 Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment that fosters academic excellence and personal growth. Your primary focus will be on teaching the Key Stage 1 curriculum, with a strong emphasis on maths, literacy, and social skills.

You will work closely with our experienced teaching team to develop engaging lesson plans, track student progress, and provide regular feedback to parents. Your ability to build strong relationships with students, colleagues, and parents will be essential in creating a positive and productive school community.

Responsibilities
  • Teach the Key Stage 1 curriculum to groups of students, with a focus on maths, literacy, and social skills.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles.
  • Track student progress, identify areas for improvement, and provide regular feedback to parents.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Contribute to the development of school policies and procedures.

Requirements
  • Relevant qualifications and teaching experience.
  • Ability to commute to Hillingdon via the Metropolitan Line.
  • Confidence in leading a class and managing behaviour in line with school policies.
